Nicolas had a great birthday. We can't believe he is 9!!!! We had family over to celebrate. It was nice to have everyone together & it was fun. Then the following weekend, we took Nico & all his friends to play laser tag. Vince, my brother and his wife also played laser tag with the kids.

Let's just say, Vince & I won the "best parents in the world!" award. All his friends kept

telling him "Nico you have awesome parents." That made him feel good and that made us feel pretty proud as well. So it was a good time.

So, that is all for now. We are getting ready for Christmas. So, it's busy, busy, busy!!

Happy Halloween

Hi:)

Wow! We can't believe Halloween is already over. Christmas is just around the corner.

YIKES!!! I'm not ready for Christmas yet. Nicolas enjoyed Halloween this year. He went trick '0 treating on Saturday night in Bay View. Sunday he went with some friends trick 'o treating.

He was Darth Vador this year. Although he had fun, he told us that next year he rather hand out the candy than go trick 'o treating. He was never big on Halloween or trick 'o treating anyway.

So, we will see how he feels next year.

Nicolas has been sick for the past 2 weeks, as well. He has an ear infection & upper respiratory infection. He is starting to feel better, but not 100% yet.

Swim Meet @ Riverside High School

On October 15th, Nicolas had a swim meet. We went against Riverside high school.

Our kids did pretty good. Nicolas swam in 2 relays but his team placed too high to get any ribbons:( But he also swam in two other races.

IM: 2:30.80. He took first place:)

We are very proud of him. He really did a good job!

Ghost Hunters Live

This past Saturday, Vince took me to see one of my favorite shows, Ghost Hunters.

This is a show that is on the Syfy channel Wednesday nights. We have been watching this show for about 4 years now. These guys go into a place that is suppose to be haunted and they try to debunk many of the claims. It's very different from the rest of these other shows.

Anyway, it was a great "date" night. We went out to dinner before hand. After the show we went and got ice cream. Then to end the night, we went to South Shore park and walked around.

Now, it's time to get ready for Halloween. The next month or so is very busy for us. Halloween and birthdays will keep us busy.

I wanted to share some beautiful fall colors with you. These pictures are from up north.

We would like to introduce you to our raccoon family. They have visited us every night since late May. We have another family that is only mom and a small girl. Her name is Bad Ass.

When these two families come face to face, there is a fight with a lot of growling, hissing, mock charges, etc. Bad Ass will stay & fight w/ them. Her mom on the other hand will run away & come back when all is good again. So, that's how she got her name. Peanut Head got his name because he won't leave the peanuts for nothing. When it's time to go he will shove as many peanuts as he can get into his mouth. We think he may have a problem:) Sweetie Pie got her name because she is so petite and cute.

Many times we shut the T.V. off and watch them because they are more entertaining then whatever is on the "tube". I won't tell how many peanuts we go though a night or a week. You would be shocked to say the least.

We just wanted to share these pictures with you. We hope you get a chuckle out of them.

Our 1st Brewers game!

A couple of weeks ago, we took Nicolas to his first baseball game. It was Vince's first time in the stadium as well. We had a good time. Nicolas was in awe pretty much the whole time:)

We left @ the 8th inning. They lost and by that time we knew there was no hope of turning it around & winning the game.

We just celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary & our 18 years together:) WOW!!

Where does the time go?? We went out for dinner and then we went to the game. Spending our anniversary by taking Nicolas to the game. How romantic! That was okay because we had fun.

In a couple of weeks, Vince is taking me to see Ghost Hunters Live! The T.V. show is on every

Wednesday night on the Syfy channel. It's one of my favorite shows. It's an interactive show. So you can ask questions, view never before footage, etc. I can't wait to go!

This weekend we are going up north for the last time for the year. So I'm staying busy with cleaning, packing, and running errands. So, I'm going to leave you now & hopefully get some sleep. Love to all:)
